Since 2000, Allen Brothers has hosted hunters from across the country on 800+ acres of carefully managed woods, lakes, and fields in Bladenboro, NC. Whether it's your first wing shoot or your fiftieth, we run hunts for individuals, families, and corporate groups every season — and we still cook every meal in our own kitchen.
Pheasant Tower Shoots
Based on the old English driven pheasant hunts, our tower shoots put birds in the air fast. Hunters take up positions around the field while pheasants launch from our tower — the action comes from every direction at once, and there's no easing into it.
These shoots run best with large groups, corporate outings, and family gatherings. We host 25–30 tower shoots a season — and it's the hunt most groups come back for.

Quail Hunting
This is where it all began for Allen Brothers. Traditional Southern-style quail hunting through carefully managed habitat — broomstraw, soft cover, and the kind of pine edges bobwhites favor. Two decades of dedicated management have gone into these grounds.
Hunt behind our trained bird dogs as they work the fields and put up the coveys. Whether it's your first quail hunt or your hundredth, our guides know the property, know the birds, and know when to push and when to hold back.

Dove Hunting
Dove season runs early September through late October — the kickoff for our hunting year. Managed sunflower and millet fields draw mourning doves in steady flight lines, and the shooting stays honest from opening bell to sundown.
Dove hunting here is a social hunt. Bring a group, take an afternoon in the field, then head back to the lodge for dinner and a fire pit.
